Ganamitra Desk, Kolkata: Asish Basak, President of ROTARY CLUB OF KASBA, organized SOCIAL IMPACT EXCELLENCE AWARD on 25 Nov. at Kolkata Press Club, Esplanade.
The program was enlivened by a series of Announcements on T3, 3 Overs Cricket Tournament, ideated by Asish Basak.
1st edition of T3 will be played on 27 Nov. and 4 Dec. by 240 Alumni of Taki Boys’ School, Sealdah, Kolkata, informed Tournament Director Dr. Asok Ray.
The focal attraction for the eve was Ms. Debika Mukherjee, eminent actress and superstar of Bengali Films, who was inducted as the FACE of T3 Cricket Tournament.
The Awards ceremony by ROTARY KASBA was in aid of SPECIAL CHILDREN, who were provided gifts to lend them some joy.The program also witnessed the launch of 7th book of Asish Basak- “BACK TO BASICS”. This is a Motivational book, featuring topics like personality development, body language, etc.
A host of dignitaries from various sectors of life came forward to support the initiative and were also felicitated by Rotary Kasba officials.
